Remote Interior Design. Family residence, Muswell Hill

For this family residence, SJG Studio worked closely with both the architects and clients to develop a cohesive interior scheme that brought the entire design together. The scope included creating considered colour palettes, refining layouts, and specifying furniture, fixtures, and finishes to ensure a seamless flow throughout the home.
Every element was carefully selected to enhance both functionality and aesthetic harmony, resulting in a beautifully balanced family residence that feels thoughtful, welcoming, and enduring.

Family Holiday Home. The Nothe, Weymouth
This coastal holiday home, in one of Weymouth's most sought after areas, was reimagined by SJG Studio to better support family living and maximise both space and sea views. Through thoughtful amendments to the existing footprint, the bungalow was transformed from a two-bedroom layout into a three-bedroom home with an additional workspace by carefully converting the garage, improving both functionality and long-term value.
An outdated conservatory was replaced with a contemporary extension designed for year round use, significantly increasing the living area while strengthening the connection to the surrounding landscape and coastal outlook. A bespoke kitchen by InWood, along with tailored built-in furniture, was designed to optimise space and storage, creating a practical yet refined environment suited to a family of four and their dog for coastal holidays.
The clients were based in London, with SJG Studio managing and delivering the full design and build process from concept through to completion.

Property Management Upwey, Dorset
For over ten years, Sarah-Jayne of SJG Studio managed a Grade II listed country property set within 23 acres, overseeing the initial set up turning it in to a holiday home rental business to the day-to-day running and long term upkeep of the estate. The role included coordinating and managing cleaning teams, groundsmen, linen suppliers and specialist contractors, ensuring the property operated smoothly while meeting the specific requirements of a listed building and its customers staying in the property.
In addition to daily operations, Sarah-Jayne managed ongoing maintenance and repairs, responding to issues as they arose and planning preventative works to protect the fabric of the building and surrounding grounds. Regular liaison with her trusted trades and suppliers ensured consistency, continuity and a practical approach to problem solving, supporting the continued care and functionality of the property over time and profitability as a holiday rental property. She also helped design and install a large outdoor kitchen within the grounds to enhance customers stay.
